Saving at home – Cheese soufflé (fast recipe)


If you think that couscous is a long and complicated recipe, try this version and you will definitely change your mind!

With this recipe, you will not only surprise your guests, but you will also have a healthy and complete dish in a short time.

Let’s start:


Ingredients for 4 people: 1 pack of toast bread – 300 ml milk – 1 pack of slices American cheese – 3 spoons of grated parmesan cheese – 2 eggs – 1 pinch of salt

Cut the sandwich bread in slices or, if you use sandwich bread, remove the dark edges.

Start composing the souffle by putting a layer of sandwich bread with the slices very close to each other.

Make a layer of slices also very thick and close to each other and continue to alternate layers of sandwich bread and slices until you get three fingers from the edge of the baking dish.

Put the milk, eggs, parmesan and a pinch of salt in a bowl and beat them with a fork then pour the mixture into the baking dish with bread and slices.

If you have time, let it rest so that the mixture comes down if instead like me you have never pricked it with a toothpick so that the mixture goes down to the bottom and wet all the bread.

Bake the souffle in a preheated oven at 200 ° for about 10/15 minutes until you see that it has become very puffy.


Serve immediately
