EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
The rice and mozzarella tart is a very nice form of serving simple rice with tomato sauce seasoned with melted mozzarella. Very simple to prepare, it is also very fast in reality, if you have ready-made tomato sauce. This simple sauce can be prepared with a tomatoes, garlic and basil.
This tart has the same procedure as the potato tart which involves the use of the crafty mold, i.e. the Californian tart mold.
RICE TART WITH MELTED MOZZARELLA
Ingredients for 4 people: 500 g rice – tomato sauce – 300 g mozzarella cheese – breadcrumbs – oil – grated cheese (Parmesan is the best) – salt and pepper
Boil the rice in salted water, drain and season it with the tomato sauce and a little grated cheese.
Grease the mold with oil and cover it with breadcrumbs, making the excess one fall away.
Pour the rice into the mold and press it well to distribute it evenly. Bake in a ventilated oven at 200° for 20 minutes.
Turn the tart onto the serving dish and lay the diced mozzarella into the hollow of the tart. Add salt and pepper and put in the oven at 50° only with the grill on until the mozzarella is melted.
