EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
This puff pastry recipe is a classic for very fast summer dinners.
It’s a very easy recipe and there are many different versions.
Today, we will prepare the simplest one of all, with fresh tomatoes.
PUFF PASTRY WITH TOMATOES
Ingredients for 4 people: 1 pack of puff pastry – one mozzarella – a dozen rather large tomatoes – salt, pepper and oregano to taste
Roll out the puff pastry into a cooking pan and prick it with a fork;
Brush with oil and add a little chopped mozzarella on the bottom;
Add the very thin tomato slices (you can also make two layers of tomatoes and two of mozzarella);
Conclude by adding a bit of oil, salt, pepper and fresh oregano;
Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes;
You can serve it, for a more complete meal with fresh cheeses or sliced ham or turkey.
