Saving at home – Basil aromatic salt

EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Today, again, with very few ingredients and in a very short time you can have a little different salt and why not, if you use a special bottles you can also keep them as a gift idea for Christmas.

Let’s start:

BASIL AROMATIC SALT

Ingredients for about 100 g of aromatized salt: 1 sprig of fresh basil (but also thyme, marjoram, or oregano will do) – 100 g salt

Preparation:

Carefully wash and dry 1 handful of basil leaves, pass them in the mixer with 100 g of salt until the basil is well chopped.

Keep the basil salt obtained in an airtight jar.

This aromatic salt is perfect for dressing tomato salads or flavoring goat cheeses and steamed, baked or boiled fish.

In the same way you can prepare other aromatic herbal salts such as salt with thyme (the proportion in this case involves the use of the leaves of 10 sprigs of thyme per 100 g of salt), the salt with marjoram (1 handful of leaves of marjoram per 100 g of salt) or salt with rosemary (1 handful of rosemary needles per 100 g of salt).
