Here we are again today with our recipe of the day: Sicilian orange salad, fresh, tasty and very easy to make!
Instead of the classic fruit salad, you can serve this variation which, in addition to being healthy, will please everyone, young and old.
For this recipe it is preferable to use Sicilian (blond) oranges.
SICILIAN ORANGE SALAD
Ingredients for 4 people: 4 oranges – 8 dates – 30 g shelled pistachios (unsalted) – 10 skinned and filleted almonds – 2-3 tablespoons of orange flower water
Chop the pistachios coarsely.
Cut the dates into small cubes.
Peel the oranges and cut the pulp into rings.
Arrange the orange slices slightly overlapping on a nice serving dish, sprinkle them with the pistachios, the filleted almonds and the dates, sprinkle them with orange flower water.
Keep this refined fruit salad in the fridge until ready to serve.
