Saving at home – Chicken with curry

EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hello everyone!

Chicken curry is an Asian recipe that has fully entered our menus.

This recipe served with a plate of plain rice becomes a tasty single dish.

Particularly loved by the youngest or by those who are beginners in the kitchen, also thanks to the simplicity and the slightly exotic appearance that curry gives.

Accompanied by boiled rice it becomes a single dish suitable for convivial consumption, in the company of friends.

There are three different types of curry on sale depending on the spiciness of the product, due to the quantity of chili pepper present:

mild or light not very spicy

hot spicy

very hot therefore very spicy!

Let’s start:

CHICKEN WITH CURRY

Ingredients for 4 people: 700 g of chicken breast – 4 teaspoons of curry – 1 deciliter of broth – 50 g of flour 00 – 50 g of shallot – fresh chilli – parsley – extra virgin olive oil – water – salt

Preparation:

Cut the chicken breast into small cubes and slice the shallot. In a bowl mix 40 g of flour with a teaspoon of salt and 3 teaspoons of curry, at this dip the chicken until it is well floured.

In a large pan pour 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, heat and pour the chicken.

Let it brown, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, then place the chicken in a plate and set aside warm.

In the same pan pour 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and brown the shallot with a few pieces of chili, add the chicken and mix, blend with the broth and cook covered for 15 minutes.

Add the left over flour and curry in half a glass of cold water.

Use it to sprinkle the chicken a few minutes before the end of cooking, mixing well. Turn off and cover, let your chicken curry rest for about ten minutes. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley and pieces of fresh chili.

The chicken curry recipe that we propose is simple and traditional, but you can add coconut milk to increase the creaminess of the sauce.

In addition, using fresh coriander instead of parsley, the result will be closer to the traditional flavor of this dish.

Accompanied by boiled rice it becomes a single dish.
