Ingredients for 4 people: 4 soft wheat sandwiches – 200 g mozzarella – 200 ml tomato puree – 1 clove of garlic with peel – fresh basil – extra virgin olive oil – salt
Preheat the oven to 200 ° in fan mode.
Lightly cook the tomato SAUCE in a pan, together with the unpeeled garlic clove, basil and a drizzle of oil.
Cut the rolls in half and arrange them on absorbing paper. Sprinkle the surface of the sandwiches with oil, then sprinkle it with a spoonful of tomato sauce.
Place in the oven and cook for about 5 minutes.
Cut the mozzarella with your hands.
Remove the bread from the oven and place the mozzarella top of it.
Cook for another 5 minutes, until the mozzarella is well melted.
