Saving at home – Apple tart (fast version)

Hi everyone!

Do you want to make an apple pie but have little time? Then you’re in the right place!

Using ready-made puff pastry, you will have a great result in half the time.

Remember that to get a good apple tart is to use apples of any type that are ripe and very fragrant.

Let’s start:

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 round puff pastry roll of 230 g – 3 renette apples – 100 g apricot jam – 2 tablespoons brown sugar – 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

To prepare the apple tart, start by cleaning the apples: peel the 3 apples, remove the core, cut them into not too thin wedges transferring them as they go to a bowl and mix them together with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon powder, then let them rest for about half an hour, at room temperature.

Meanwhile spread the roll of puff pastry in a tart mold about 26 centimeters in diameter and pierce the bottom with the backs of a fork. This step is necessary so as not to inflate the bottom too much, in this way the tart will not deform during cooking.

Spread the bottom of puff pastry with 100 g of apricot jam, or if you want to accentuate the flavor of the apples you can use apple butter.

After the rest time of the apples, arrange the radiating wedges over the entire surface of the tart, then cook the apple tart in the preheated oven in static mode at 180°C for about 45-50 minutes or in any case until the apples are well cooked and golden.

Once cooked, bake the apple tart and let it cool completely, before serving.

Enjoy your meal!
