The tuna mousse is a very easy preparation, based on a few and very simple ingredients, ideal for appetizer or aperitif canapes, even in moments of celebration.
A recipe that can be prepared at the last moment and with which you are sure to satisfy all tastes.
Ingredients for 4 people: 300 g tuna in oil – 4 anchovies in oil – 1 tablespoon of capers – juice of half a lemon – 100 g soft butter – 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
Preparing the tuna mousse is very simple.
Drain the capers from the vinegar, or soak them in water if you have chosen the salty ones to be desalted. Also drain the tuna and anchovies from their oil and chop them.
Squeeze the lemon and pass the juice through a colander, cut the butter into small pieces. Collect all the ingredients indicated in the blender jug, add a ground pepper and press the button intermittently for 2-3 minutes until you get the consistency of a mousse.
Transfer the mixture to one or more serving bowls and serve the tuna mousse with toasted bread, breadsticks or lightly salted crackers.
