EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!
These Christmas cookies are a truly extraordinary Christmas treat.
They are quick and easy to prepare.
If you put them in a tin box they can also become a nice gift idea, since they can be kept for several days.
Let’s start:
CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Ingredients for 4 people: 250 flour 00 – 100 g butter – 50 g sugar – 1 egg – 1 teaspoon of baking powder for cakes – 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder – 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cloves – 1 pinch of salt – 1/2 teaspoon of powdered ginger – 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg – 1/2 sachet of vanillin for the icing: 50 g powdered sugar – water – 1/2 vanilla sachet
Preparation:
First, put the flour in a bowl, add the granulated sugar, brown sugar, yeast, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg powder, salt. Mix well.
Add the softened butter (at room temperature) cut into chunks, the vanilla and work everything until you get a rather sandy mixture.
Add the egg and mix it with the dough; form a dough.
Roll out the pastry to a thickness of about half a cm and, with Christmas molds, cut out the biscuits.
Arrange the biscuits on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them in preheated oven at 180° for twenty minutes (they must be slightly golden).
Once ready, let them cool completely and decorate them with a glaze made by simply mixing the icing sugar with water and a little vanilla to flavor it.
To decorate easily, you can use a small pastry bag or a pastry syringe.
The Christmas biscuits can be kept at room temperature for up to two weeks.
Enjoy your meal!
