They are delicious, simple and ready in a flash! These quick puff pastry appetizers are ideal for sharing a pleasant moment of celebration with friends. They contain a tasty filling that can be customized according to your taste.
PUFF PASTRY APPETIZERS
Ingredients for 8 people: 2 packages of rectangular puff pastry – 2 tablespoons of dried tomato patè – 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese – 100 g of smoked Scamorza – dried oregano – 1 yolk – 1 tablespoon of milk – poppy seeds
To make the puff pastry appetizers, begin to roll out the first package of puff pastry and spread over it the dried tomato paté. Add the grated Parmesan, the scamorza cheese cut into pieces and the oregano.
Cover with the second rectangle of puff pastry and make a slight pressure along all the edges to seal them well. With a roll or dough cutter, pass on the rectangle and cut it into squares of 1 cm per side.
Lightly beat the egg yolk with the milk and use the mixture to brush the entire surface of the pastry. Then sprinkle the poppy seeds evenly. Bake in preheated oven at 200°. Bake and cut again with a knife along the guides that you had done before cooking so that the puffs separate well from each other.
