EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

You may not think it’s the right time, but I love salads, and today we’ll see how to make the Greek salad.
There is not only one recipe for this salad, not even in Greece. In every place, in fact, whether on the peninsula or on an island, this mixed salad is composed with the typical products present in the area, with a wide choice between the various qualities of tomatoes, olives and even the most famous pickled cheese.
You can serve the Greek salad with bread croutons and a bowl of Tzaziki.
Let’s start:
GREEK SALAD

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 cucumber – 2 coppery tomatoes – 1 red onion – 1 green pepper – pitted black olives – 200 g feta – oregano – extra virgin olive oil – salt – black pepper
Preparation:
To prepare the Greek salad, start washing, drying and cutting all the vegetables.
Peel the cucumber and cut into cubes. Clean the peppers by removing the seeds and internal filaments, then cut into thin strips.
Cut the tomatoes into pieces and the onion into rings not too thin. Begin placing the cucumber in a large salad bowl or a large serving dish.
Sprinkle with a little pepper and overlap the tomatoes.
Add the strips of pepper and onion, then the olives.
Season with salt, freshly ground pepper and a bit of oil. Arrange on top of the vegetables the feta piece
Season the latter with a little oil and a sprinkling of pepper then serve immediately.
