EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
The apple crumble with pecans and vanilla honey is a delicious and fragrant cake with which it is particularly pleasant to welcome autumn. With a quick and easy recipe, this apple crumble is also suitable for many occasions ranging from Sunday brunch to dinner with friends.
APPLE CRUMBLE, PECANS AND VANILLA HONEY
Ingredients for 4 people: 150 g flour 00 – 75 g granulated sugar – a generous spoonful of oatmeal – 50 g coarsely chopped pecans – 75 g cold butter – salt
FOR FRUIT: 4-5 apples Granny Smith – the juice of half a lemon – 1 tablespoon plenty of acacia honey – 1 vanilla berry – powdered sugar
To prepare the apple crumble with pecans and vanilla honey, collect in a bowl the flour with the sugar, the butter cut into cubes, the oats and a pinch of salt. Work everything with your fingertips, very quickly, until you get large crumbs of dough. Add the coarsely chopped pecans and stir. Cover and let stand for about half an hour in the refrigerator.
Peel and cut the apples into slices and sprinkle with the juice of 1/2 lemon, add the honey and vanilla seeds extracted from the berry. Mix well and arrange the apples so seasoned in a container of about 20 cm in diameter suitable for baking in the oven.
Distribuite il crumble sulle mele, coprendole bene e in maniera omogenea, e cuocete in forno preriscaldato a 180°C per 25-30 minuti o comunque fino a doratura.
Una volta sfornato spolverate, se gradito, con un po’ di zucchero a velo setacciato e servite il crumble di mele, noci pecan e miele alla vaniglia, tiepido o freddo.
