PANNA COTTA AL CAFFE’ (COFFEE PANNA COTTA)
Ingredients for 4 people: 250 ml fresh cream – 200 ml milk – 1 cup coffee (or 2 teaspoons soluble coffee) – 2 tablespoons sugar – 1 teaspoon corn starch – 10 g Agar agar – vanillin – whipped cream to decorate
Prepare the coffee with the moka or the machine (if you do not have neither of them, you can safely use instant coffee powder), and keep aside.
In a saucepan pour the milk and corn starch, which you will melt with the help of a whisk, making sure that no lumps form.
Then add the cream, coffee, sugar and vanilla.
Put on the heat and, stirring constantly bring to a boil.
Add the agar agar, keep boiling for another two minutes.
Pour into 4 cups and let them rest at room temperature. Once they have cooled down refrigerate for another 4 hours before serving.
Decorate with whipped cream and some coffee beans.
