EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
The most famous version of baked risotto is the one made with a procedure similar to the Bolognese lasagne, that consists of layers of rice alternating with cheese and béchamel sauce.
You will need previously prepared tomato risotto.
Usually, when I make tomato risotto, I prepare it in abundance so that I have it ready for the next day to prepare this delicious recipe.
RISOTTO BAKED IN THE OVEN
Ingredients for 4 people: 350 g of rice with tomato sauce – 300 g of cheese that melts easily – 240 g of cooked ham (or sliced turkey) – 500 ml of béchamel sauce – 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
First of all, heat the oven to 180 º. Slice the cheese thin enough and keep aside.
Take a baking dish and put a few tablespoons of béchamel sauce on the bottom, then create a layer of rice with tomato.
Level the rice well, pour a few more tablespoons of béchamel sauce, then put a layer of cooked ham (or sliced turkey) and cover with part of the cheese slices. Form a second layer of rice with tomato sauce, and proceed again creating a layer with béchamel sauce, again the Prosciutto Cotto (or sliced turkey) and finally the cheese.
Finish with a final layer of rice with tomato sauce, add a little béchamel sauce and sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake in a hot oven for 25/30 minutes.
Let cool about 10 minutes before serving.
