EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN
Hi everyone!
Yes, you’ve seen it well! Today we’ll see how to make polenta chips, an original recipe to have an alternative to French fries.
In the recipe there is butter, but if you want the vegan version, just replace it with oil.
Let’s start:
POLENTA CHIPS

Ingredients for 4 people: 500 g corn flour – 1 l water – 80 g butter – seed oil for frying – extra virgin olive oil – salt to taste.
Preparation:
Start the preparation of the polenta chips by boiling a pot of water with the butter (if you want the vegan version, replace the butter with oil).
Add salt and pour in the corn flour.
Cook the polenta for 40 minutes stirring constantly.
Grease a pan with extra virgin olive oil.
Once ready, pour the polenta into the pan leveling it thoroughly with a spatula.
Let the polenta become compact by placing it in the fridge for 2 hours.
After the time has passed, take it out and cut it out in sticks.
Cook the polenta sticks in hot oil and drain on sheets of paper towels.
Before serving, season with salt.
Alternatively, you can bake your polenta chips in the oven at 200° for 15 minutes.
Enjoy your meal!
