Do you have any scraps of cloth? Even if they are rather small, you can use them to create an essential accessory for those with long hair: an elastic covered with fabric.
It’s easy, fast (promise, it will take maximum 10 minutes!), and in this way you can choose the color and the pattern so as to match it to your clothing!
DIY N. 40
FABRIC BANDS FOR HAIR
1 fabric strip of 40x8cm for child size, 50x12cm for adult size
Fold the strip of fabric in the direction of the length, right against right. Sew 1 cm from the edge leaving a 5 cm opening in the middle of the band.
Turn on right side.
Then invert the tube in half, right against right so that the two ends overlap.
Sew all around the open end 1 cm from the edge.
Turn the fabric upside down thanks to the 5cm opening.
With a safety pin, insert the elastic through the opening . Once threaded, firmly join the two ends with a seam.
Close by sewing the 5 cm opening.
