EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!
Today we will see how to prepare this typical Sardinian recipe, more precisely from the Carloforte area.
Its characteristic is that it resembles braised meat but it’s made with fresh tuna or, better, with fried tuna fish and then blended with white wine (or apple vinegar), completed with a little tomato sauce and scented with bay leaf, garlic and a drizzle of vinegar.
The result is a second course fish which is unique and really tasty.
Let’s start:
SARDINIAN STYLE ROASTED TUNA FILLET

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 kg and 1/2 fresh tuna – 4 cloves of garlic – 2 tablespoons tomato sauce – 1 glass of white wine (or apple vinegar) – extra virgin olive oil – oil for frying – 2 dried bay leaves – salt
Preparation:
First cut the tuna (tail muscle) into 6 slices about 1.5 cm high and fry in plenty frying oil.
In a separate pan, brown the peeled garlic cloves and the bay leaf in extra virgin olive oil, add the fried tuna, let it flavor for a moment and then blend with white wine (or apple vinegar).
Season to taste with salt, add the tomato sauce, the bay leaf and finish with a drizzle of apple vinegar.
Cook until the sauce thickens and the fish is tender.
The Sardinian style roasted tuna is ready to be served!
Enjoy your meal!
