DIY (47) – Spring wreath

Hi everyone!!

I don’t know about you… but I can’t wait for winter to finally give way to good weather. To welcome spring you can refresh your interior or the front door with a beautiful and daring spring wreath.

Similar to the Christmas and autumn wreaths, this one is made of elements that symbolize the spring season.  In this case many flowers and colors are used.

Below you will find a detailed seasonal decoration project that you can achieve in half an hour!

Let’s start

DIY N. 47

small wooden nests – vintage wallpaper – craft painting – Mod podge glue – brushes – wooden wreath (you can create one yourself also with cardboard) – fake moss – artificial flowers, miniature decorations – ribbon

The first thing to do is to paint your nests with a layer of white paint. Let them dry.

Then, measure and cut the pieces of wallpaper to fit them wherever you want on the birdhouses.

Apply a little bit of Mod podge glue with a brush on the wood.  Smooth the paper on the support and remove the folds and air bubbles if there are any.

Then you can add a little more color to your birdhouses.  Once the paint is dry, apply a very strong glue layer on top to seal.

As soon as your houses are decorated and dry, you can place them on your wreath.

Attach each shelter to the crown with hot glue.

After adjusting the houses, it is time to fix the pieces of fake moss around until the spring wreath is full.

Finally, arrange the flowers and small decorations

Glue a ribbon on the back of the wreath to hang.
