This savory cake with spinach and stracchino cheese is a tasty rustic dish, ideal to be served as an appetizer but also as a single dish since it is complete of carbohydrates, vegetables, protein and fat.
Easy and quick to prepare the savory pie with spinach and stracchino is an excellent alternative to the classic with ricotta and spinach, with a stronger taste.
Excellent if served hot because of the melted cheese, But can also great to be eaten cold for a quick meal in the office or at school.
SPINACH AND STRACCHINO PIE
Ingredients for 4 people: 400 g FROZEN SPINACH – 1 EGG – NUTMEG – 1 Roll Puff pastry – 200 g STRACCHINO cheese
Defrost the spinach and squeeze it well.
Chop with a knife or pass in the mixer.
Transfer into a bowl, add the stracchino into pieces, the beaten egg together with grated cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
With the puff pastry line a cake tin leaving it in its parchment paper, fill with the mixture, smooth the surface and fold the edges of dough inside.
Bake for about half an hour at 200° C.
