Saving at home – Fast, yeast-free sandwich


Hi everyone!

This fast unleavened focaccia, in addition to being easy and fast, can be filled with the filling you prefer.

It will only take 3 ingredients: flour, water and oil.

They are suitable for a quick dinner, as an appetizer but you can prepare them even when you don’t know what to cook.

Let’s start:

Ingredients for 4 people: 250 g flour 00 – 200 g stracchino – 125 g salami or other sliced meat) – 100 g scamorza – 125 water (+ 1 tablespoon) – 25 g extra virgin olive oil (+ 1 tablespoon) – salt


First put the flour in a bowl, add the oil, water at room temperature, salt and work all the ingredients until you get a soft and compact dough, let it rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Once the time has passed, divide the dough into two parts and roll out with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 2-3 mm, form two circles.

Take a small circle and arrange it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, fill it with slices of salami (or other sliced meat), the stracchino cheese (or other soft cheese), the scamorza cut into small pieces and cover with the second sheet, seal the edge and fold the dough inwards, so the stuffing will not escape in cooking.

Brush the surface of the yeast-free fast sandwich with an emulsion of water and oil, prick it with a toothpick and bake in a preheated oven to 220° C for about 20-25 minutes, until the color is well golden
