VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN
Hi everyone!
Here we are with our last recipe of this series dedicated to bread.
The taste of the garlic and the herbs will make this bread loaf absolutely delicious!
Let’s start:
LOAF WITH GARLIC, HERBS AND LEMON

Ingredients for 1 loaf: 250 g white flour plus the necessary for the dough – a sachet of 7 g baking powder with rapid action – 2 cloves of garlic – 2 handfuls of fresh parsley – the peel and juice of a lemon or 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in the bottle – 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, plus the necessary to grease the bowl and the pan
Preparation:
Place the flour and yeast in a large bowl. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them or crush finely. Finely chop the parsley in a smaller bowl using the kitchen scissors. Grate the lemon zest. Add the garlic, parsley and lemon zest to the flour and yeast in a single gesture and stir.
Pour the lemon juice into a scoop and add the oil. Add warm water to reach 180 ml. Make a fountain in the middle of the mixture of flour, yeast and odors and gradually add the liquid, working the dough with a wooden spoon or silicone, and with your hands.
Lightly flour your worktop and pour over the dough. Knead and roll out for about 10 minutes. Slightly grease the inside of the bowl, put the dough back inside, cover with a clean towel and let it grow until its size is doubled. It should take about half an hour, but it sometimes varies depending on the temperature in the room.
When the dough has grown, remove the air spilling on the slightly foured work surface. Gently give it a round shape and put it in an oiled baking pan or silicone 1/2 kg (about 17 x 7 x 6 cm). Cover with cling film or with a clean plastic bag and let it rise for 30 minutes. A little before the end of the leavening, preheat the oven to 220 C.
Cut the top of the loaf with a sharp knife and put it in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
The loaf should sound empty when you tap it on the bottom. Remove from the oven, turn over the pan and let cool on a grill.
BE CAREFUL!!! If you double the quantities, the cooking times will be a bit different: After the first 15 minutes, lower the temperature to 170 º C. Cook for 30 minutes.
Enjoy your meal!
