Here we are on our sixth appointment with plastic recycling.
For this project you can use the oven or a candle. In both cases you will have to be careful not to overheat too much the plastic that might get a burnt color.
Once you get the hang of it, you’ll make gorgeous earrings in just a few minutes!
DIY N. 83
PLASTIC BOTTLE RECYCLE 6: EARRINGS
1 small plastic bottle – ring – earring clips – jewelry pliers
Start by cutting out pieces of plastic from the bottle. If you use the oven, preheat it to 150# and place the pieces of plastic on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Start at a low temperature and slowly lift it to prevent it from burning.
You can also use the flame of a candle, always taking care not to get too close to the flame.
Create the hole for the ring using a heated needle and finally insert the hook.
