Saving at home – Coconut sweets


Hi everyone!

In yesterday’s recipe we left aside the egg whites… Today we will see how to use them for this dessert so easy to do: the egg whites cookies.

5 minutes of preparation, 10 minutes of cooking, but definitely a few seconds to finish them all!

They are delicious and one leads to another, so listen to our advice and always prepare a little more!

Let’s start:


Ingredients for 4 people: 150 g coconut flour – 120 g sugar – 3 egg whites


Preparing this recipe is of an almost disarming simplicity. No complex operations, no strange utensils: just a bowl, a spatula and a pastry pocket with a star-shaped nozzle.

In a bowl put the coconut flour, sugar and egg whites and mix well to obtain a floury mixture. Let it rest for 15 minutes so that the coconut absorbs the moisture of the egg white.

Transfer the mixture into a pastry bag equipped with a star spout and create small piles of dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.  If you do not have the pocket, form small balls of dough with your hands: the taste will certainly not suffer!

Bake these coconut cakes for 10 minutes at 200º C, until they are of a beautiful golden color. Wait until they are completely cold before removing them from the pan or they will tend to break.
