Saving at home – Fried cheese

EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!

Do you want an assortment of fried cheeses for your appetizer buffet or for an evening with friends? Here below all the indications to be able to make a nice tray of juicy and appetizing morsels.

With this recipe you will make a nice tray full of Mozzarella, Ricotta and Caciotta cheeses all fried, hot and incredibly tasty. Also find out how we used anchovy paste to be served on the side.

Let’s start:

FRIED CHEESE

Ingredients for 4 people: 5 eggs – 1 pack of Mozzarella – 125 g of Ricotta – 270 g Caciotta or other melting cheese – 150 g of flour – seed oil for frying – salt – 1 pack of anchovy paste – extra virgin olive oil

Preparation:

Here’s how to prepare the fried cheese: beat 3 eggs well and add a little salt. Drain well the Mozzarella, cut into slices (not too large), and cut the caciotta cheee into cubes.

Then work the Ricotta pouring it into a bowl with 2 eggs and salt and form, in an amalgamated mixture, small balls helping you with a spoon.

At this point pass the Caciotta cheese, the Mozzarella slices and the Ricotta, first in the eggs and then in the flour.

Put in a pan plenty of oil to fry and, when it is hot, pour the Mozzarella, the Ricotta and the Caciotta (or other melting cheese), then let them fry until they are golden.

While you fry everything, melt the anchovy paste in extra virgin olive oil, then heat well the mixture, stirring vigorously to make it amalgamate. 

When fried, serve the hot fried cheese and use as an accompaniment the anchovy paste so dissolved, to give more flavor to the cheeses.
