EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
If you want to prepare chicken escalopes with a delicate and particular taste, try this saffron recipe.
The other night I didn’t know how to prepare some chicken slices I had in the fridge and flipping through one of my recipe books I noticed this recipe of saffron escalopes.
SAFFRON CHICKEN ESCALOPES
Ingredients for 4 people: 4 chicken slices – 20 g butter – 1 sachet of saffron – 1 glass of white wine (or apple vinegar) – 20 g flour – extra virgin olive oil – salt – pepper – rosemary (optional)
Dissolve saffron in white wine (or apple vinegar) and let it rest for about ten minutes.
In the meantime, fry the butter and oil in a non-stick pan and place the slices of meat, beaten and floured, and brown for 5 minutes on each side.
Salt, pepper and sprinkle the escalopes with the saffron liquid until they are covered.
Let shrink the sauce obtained by turning the scallops to flavor on both sides.
If you want, at the end of cooking, you can add a little bit of chopped rosemary. This final touch will make your dish more colorful and fragrant.
Serve the saffron scallops on a serving plate and sprinkle with saffron sauce.
