Saving at home – Potatoes and béchamel sauce

EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!

Here we are with another easy and tasty recipe, suitable even for last minute dinners.

You can make it with ham but also with turkey, according to your taste.

Let’s start:

POTATOES AND BECHAMEL SAUCE

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 kg potatoes – 500 ml béchamel – 200 g cooked ham (or turkey) – 50 g Parmesan

Preparation:

First, cook the potatoes in water (they should be still a bit hard). Meanwhile prepare the béchamel sauce and, when cooked, add the cooked ham (or turkey) cut into cubes. Stir to form a creamy mixture.

Grease a baking dish with butter and place on the bottom the potatoes cut into thick slices.

Cover with the ham cream (or turkey).

Place a second layer of potatoes, pour over the cream and cover with potatoes.

Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on the last layer.

Bake at 180 º C for 30 minutes. Grate the potatoes until the surface gets colored. Let cool before serving.
