Do you know in how many ways you can recycle old jeans?
Lets start with this simple bottle holder, an original way to give a bottle as a gift. You can use it for larger bottles, but also for packaging other objects such as perfumes, creams etc.
DIY N. 164
JEANS RECYCLING IDEAS: BOTTLE HOLDER
old jeans – needle and thread (or hot glue) – lace –
Start by cutting out the pieces of jeans: one large band a few centimeters larger and taller than your bottle; the side seam (enough to close the package), a 20 cm long and 3 cm wide band (for your flower); and at last a circle with a diamater a bit smaller tha the base of the bottle.
Wrap the bottle with the bigger piece tightly enough to embrace the bottle.
Close by using the hot glue.
Now close the base, always using the hot glue. Finish with the jeans circle.
Now create the flowers:
Create a triangle on ne side and start rolling the fabric around it. Once in a while put some hot glue or sew so that the flower will keep together.
A suggestion for crating the rose: while you turn ita around, change the direction of the fabric.
Now you will just have to add the lace, the thread to close the package and the flowers.
