EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
Simple to prepare with a few ingredients, the Ghraybeh pastry biscuits are made with rose water and jam stuffing for a tasty surprise.
GHRAYBEH (MIDDLE EAST)
Ingredients for 4 people: 200 grams of flour – 200 grams of semolina – 200 ml of butter 100 grams of sugar – 11 ml of water flavored with roses (or even orange) – 30 almonds blanched
Heat the oven to 140 º C. Sieve the flour and semolina at the same time and set aside.
Beat butter for at least 10 minutes until soft.
Then continue to beat for another 2 minutes while you add the flavored water and sugar.
Gradually add the mixture of flour. Refrigerate the mixture in a covered bowl for about 10 minutes. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough and cut the biscuits and place on a sheet of baking paper.
Add an almond on each biscuit and bake 35 to 40 minutes in the oven.
Let the cookies cool for at least 1 hour before serving.
