Here we go with another easy jeans recycle idea!: Denim draft excluders.
Practical and easy to make, they require very few materials.
Whether they are made of material, cotton or filled with sand, rice or salt, these draft excluders always help to stop cold air getting in.
DIY N. 171
JEANS RECYCLE: DENIM DRAFT EXCLUDERS
OLD JEANS – stencil letters (optional) – acrylic colors (optional) – needle and thread – filling (you can also use rice, sand or salt) – scissors
This project is so simple!
All you have to do is to cut out your jeans leg to the size of the frame (window or door), leaving a few centimeters for the seams.
If you don’t like sewing, a good alternative is to cut a rectangle along the side seam and then close it using hot glue.
Insert the filling. Finally fold and sew (or glue) the ends.
You can decorate your draft excluders using stencils.
I hope you liked today’s craft idea!
See you tomorrow with another DIY!!!
