EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
Yesterday we saw how to make the curry sauce.
Today we will see another very simple and tasty Indian recipe.
If you want a lighter version, you can replace the cream with a tablespoon of milk or broth.
CHICKEN WITH CURRY
Ingredients for 4 people: 1 kg chicken – 30 g butter – 1 onion – 2 tablespoons flour – 2 tablespoons curry – 2 tablespoons liquid cream – 50 cl broth – dry white wine (or apple vinegar) – salt
First clean, wash and cut the chicken into eight parts.
Then clean, wash and chop the onion, then put to fry in butter.
Now add to the sauté also the pieces of chicken. At this point, sauté everything over a low heat, turning the meat occasionally. When the meat is well browned, add salt and blend with white wine or apple vinegar (just half a glass), then raise the flame to evaporate.
Once the wine has evaporated, add to the preparation the curry, the flour diluted separately with a little broth and the remaining broth previously heated. At this point continue cooking the meat for about 20 minutes.
After the indicated time, take the pieces of chicken and place them on a serving plate and finish the preparation by sifting the sauce left in the pan.
Finally put this mixture back on the heat and add the liquid cream. Then heat the sauce well, stirring constantly.
Finally, cover your chicken curry with the hot sauce. Serve immediately.
