EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
Here we are with another easy recipe, also from Indian cuisine.
I’ll tell you right away that I really like rice, even simple (in white) and this is a slightly more original alternative for serving this dish.
CURRY RICE (INDIA)
Ingredients for 4 people: 250 g basmati rice – 1 teaspoon full of curry – 60 g butter – 1 large onion thinly sliced – ½ l boiling meat broth
Begin by cleaning, washing and thinly slicing the onion. Then sauté with 30 g of butter in a saucepan that can also be placed in the oven. The onion will have to cook until it is transparent.
At this point pour the rice and sauté over high heat stirring constantly with the help of a wooden spoon. Once the rice is well browned add the curry too, then mix well.
Pour the boiling broth, then let the boil again. Once boiling, put the lid on top of the saucepan and put it in the oven at 175 º C for 20 minutes.
After the indicated time, remove the pan from the oven, then add the remaining butter to your curry rice.
Finally, proceed to shell the rice with the help of a fork (the grains must be well separated from each other).
Your rice with curry is ready to be served!
