Hi everyone!

Today we’re gonna make a delicious plum jam!

Why today? Well first of all this is the time for plums and, secondly, it is another of those easy and healthy recipes!

For today’s recipe I chose red plums, but all other types of plums are also fine.

Are you worried about the amount of sugar?… No problem, in the recipe I also put the quantities to use stevia!

Let’s start:

PLUM JAM (NORMAL/LIGHT)

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 kg plums – 450 g sugar (or 180 g stevia) – 1 lemon (filtered juice and peel)

Preparation:

First, sterilize the glass jars.

Then wash the plums thoroughly, dry them, remove the stone, weigh them, add them in the pot with sugar (or stevia), filtered lemon juice and the zest cut roughly:

Let marinate for 30 minutes. Then cook over very slow heat, turning occasionally without sticking the mixture. Until it slugs into a soft, non-liquid jam.

Peel off the skins.

Pass with a mixer to obtain a fine and velvety pulp.

Plum jam should look creamy and dense, not liquid.

Transfer the jam into sterilized jars, filling up to 1 cm from the edge.

Then let it cool upside down.

This jam is to be consumed preferably when it has become cold.
