EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN – VEGAN
Here we are in September… and here we go with the preparation of preserves.
Last year I published the recipe for preparing tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes.
Well, this year I post an even simpler recipe to have fresh tomatoes all year round.
FRESH TOMATOES IN A JAR
Ingredients for 4 people: fresh cherry tomatoes – fresh basil – sterilized jars and lids
First of all sterilize your jars and lids (let them boil for 20 minutes).
Meanwhile prepare your tomatoes: wash them well and dry them. Follow the same procedure with the basil.
If your tomatoes are small, you can insert them directly into the jars, otherwise you can cut the larger ones into four parts and insert them together with the whole ones, so as not to leave any space. Also insert the basil leaves.
Press the tomatoes well (when you boil them again, their volume will decrease).
Once you have filled the jars put them to boil for 40 minutes.
After the time of sterilization (the second), turn off the heat and let cool without removing the jars from the pot.
Your fresh tomatoes IN A JAR are ready!!!
Enjoy your meal!
