Saving at home – Fennel salad


Hi everyone!

A recipe as delicate as it is simple to prepare, which is enriched with a tasty cheese such as Mozzarella, an ingredient that can give an extra touch to your dish.

If you want to make this dish even more delicious, just add some orange wedges.

Let’s start:


Ingredients for 4 people: 3 fennels – 1 Mozzarella – 2 cloves of garlic – 4 croutons of stale bread – 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil – 1 tablespoon of vinegar – a few orange wedges – salt and pepper


First wash, clean and reduce the fennel to julienne, then take the Mozzarella and cut into cubes.

For the bread croutons: Take the croutons and rub them with the previously cleaned garlic cloves. Rub the wedges in the croutons until they are completely consumed.

At the end of the operation arrange the bread croutons on the bottom of a capable salad bowl.

At this point pour over it, little by little and slowly, extra virgin olive oil and vinegar. Once you’ve poured them both out, let them soak it up.

Then add the fennel cut julienne style. Finally season with salt and pepper.

Finish your salad with a sprinkle of cheese cubes and a few orange wedges.
