Nowadays we speak so much about recycling. In today’s DIY we will see how you can make beautiful flower paper with old paper and flowers. You can use paper from old envelopes or other scraps that you have at home.

This will be also a great way for creating your own greeting cards for Christmas.

RECYCLED FLOWER PAPER

material:

scraps of paper – water – Deckle and mould (if you don’t have one, you can create it easily with two picture frames and a screen filter) – flowers cut in small pieces

First of all reduce the paper in tiny pieces. Place it in water and let it soak for about an hour.

After soaking, put it in the mixer.

Place again in a large container and add the flowers. Immerge the deckle and mould. Gather the paper in the filter and take it out keeping the filter horizontal.

Place it on a towel and let it dry.

Your recycled flower paper is ready!
