EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
Last week I took some Venus rice for a change and tried to make this simple, fast and nutritious recipe.
The combination of this very special rice with the dried beef and the cherry tomatoes has resulted in a very delicate dish.
VENERE RICE WITH DRIED BEEF STRIPS AND CHERRY TOMATOES
Ingredients for 4 people: 1 chopped small onion – 300 g Venus rice (BLACK RICE) – 80 g pieces of bresaola – cherry tomatoes – sesame seeds – extra virgin olive oil – salt and pepper – 1 glass of white wine (or apple vinegar) – 1 l vegetable broth
Brown the chopped onion in a pan with little extra virgin olive oil.
Turn up the heat and add the rice and immediately after the white wine (or apple vinegar). Evaporate the wine and add a few ladles of broth. Cover and cook over low heat.
While the rice is cooking, cut the tomatoes in four parts and leave aside.
Stir the rice occasionally.
At the end of the cooking time add the strips of dried beef and the tomatoes. Sauté a little more and put the rice in a serving dish.
Season with salt and pepper and finally add sesame seeds and serve.
