The cranberry sauce is often used to accompany meat dishes, but also desserts such as cheesecake.
If you don’t like liquor, you can replace it with juice.
It is also delicious on a slice of bread for a tasty breakfast or snack.
Ingredients for 4 people: 250 grams of cranberries – 1 orange (juice and peel) – 150 ml of port or other wine type marsala (or fruit juice or syrup) – 1 tablespoon of honey – 2 tablespoons of cane sugar
Wash the blueberries, clean them and put them in a saucepan with sugar, honey, port and orange juice and peel and fruit juice (or syrup).
Bring to a boil and cook for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
The cranberry sauce is ready: serve it at room temperature.
