Saving at home – Apple fritters

EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!

Do you happen to leave apples in the refrigerator and not know how to use them, especially when they are no longer fresh?

Try to make these pancakes, quick and tasty!

Let’s start:

APPLE FRITTERS

Ingredients for 4 people: 1 apple – 1 egg -150 g white yogurt (also soy) – grated zest of a lemon – 140 g flour – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – seed oil for frying (I use corn) – 2 tablespoons powdered sugar – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation:

Peel an apple and grate it.

In a large enough bowl break an egg, add 30 g of sugar and mix with a whisk for a few minutes.

Add 150 g of white yogurt (also soy). Mix again, always with the whisk. When it has reached a homogeneous consistency, add also the roughly grated apple.

Add also the chopped LEMON zest and mix with a spatula.

Now pour the flour sifted with 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. Mix again with the spatula.
Pour some corn oil into a pan and heat.

With the help of a spoon, create small pancakes and cook for a few minutes. Continue until the dough is exhausted. Once golden, turn on the other side and remove when they have taken color on both sides.

Place the apple fritters on a serving plate and sprinkle with icing sugar mixed with the cinnamon.
