Saving at home – Brownies


Hi everyone!

Here’s the original brownies recipe. 

You will need only a bowl, a saucepan and a spoon

Few ingredients for a recipe that does not need introduction!

Let’s start:


Ingredients for 4 people: 200 g of Dark chocolate – 150 g of Sugar – 60 g of Nuts (or hazelnuts) – 1 teaspoon of Baking Powder – 110 g Flour – 170 g of Butter – 2 teaspoons of Cocoa powder – Powdered sugar – 2 Eggs – 1 pinch of Salt


Put in a bowl the chocolate with butter and let it melt in a bain-marie, over low heat, stirring often with a wooden spoon.

With an electric mixer, beat the eggs with the sugar until you get a frothy mixture.

Add the melted chocolate to the mixture and stir. Add the flour, yeast and cocoa and mix again so that the mixture is homogeneous. Finally, add the nuts (or hazelnuts).

Line a rectangular baking tray with greaseproof paper, pour the dough and bake in a hot oven at 180 ºC for 40 minutes.

Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool, then cut it into squares of the same size.

Arrange the cakes in a tray, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
