EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
When it comes to meatballs, you usually think of beef or chicken.
Well, today we will see an excellent alternative with a delicate taste and, as always… very easy to make: turkey meatballs with lemon sauce.
TURKEY MEATBALLS WITH LEMON SAUCE
Ingredients for 4 people: 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese – 2 tablespoons flour 00 – 2 slices of bread- capers – thyme – 1/2 lemon – 50 g butter – 300 g turkey (minced or in slices)
Soak two slices of bread in water for a couple of minutes.
Grate the Parmesan cheese and chop the thyme.
In a bowl add the chopped turkey, the wet bread, the cheese and the chopped thyme and the capers. Season with salt and pepper.
Mix all the ingredients and cut into balls, working the dough by hand.
Turn on the oven at 200 º C, and place the meatballs on a baking pan lined with baking paper. Bake and cook for 15 minutes.
While cooking, squeeze half a lemon.
In a pan melt the butter over low heat and slowly add the flour stirring continuously.
Then pour the lemon juice and stretch everything with a glass of water.
At this point add the meatballs. Turn them often until the lemon sauce reaches a creamy consistency.
Your turkey meatballs are ready!!
