Saving at home – Rustic cake


Hi everyone!

Today we will prepare a delicious rustic cake, a practical recipe, suitable for everyone!

Let’s start:


Ingredients for 4 people: 500 G ready bread dough – 200 g cheese type first salt or even cottage cheese – 1 red onion – 40 g anchovies in oil – 50 g pitted black olives – 100 g cherry tomatoes – 100 g turkey roast (sliced) – little flour for the countertop – 20 ml olive oil – salt and pepper


Cut the cheese into very thin slices or into strips.

Peel the onion and chop it coarsely.

Drain the anchovies from their oil and cut the olives into rings.

Wash the tomatoes and cut them in half and put them in a bowl and add the salt and pepper.

Cut the turkey into strips.

Grease a 24-26 cm diameter baking tray with half the oil.

Divide the dough into two parts.

Roll out a first part on the worktop with flour.

Transfer it to the pan and cover the base and edges. Prick the dough with the tips of a fork.

Place a layer of cheese on the bottom.

Sprinkle with the prepared onion and the cherry tomatoes.

Add the chopped anchovies, olives and turkey.

Roll out the second part of dough and cover the preparation, sealing well on the edges.

Brush the surface with the remaining oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and serve.
