Saving at home – Bicuits with Orange cream

EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE

Hi everyone!

As summer approaches, this variant of the tiramisu (Italian dessert which literally means “lift me up” is ideal for having a fresh and tasty dessert at the same time.

I forgot… for the success of this dessert, be careful to follow these two simple tips:

• Take the Mascarpone out of the fridge about 30 minutes before preparation;

• The eggs should be at room temperature before starting preparation.

Let’s start:

BISCUITS WITH ORANGE CREAM

Ingredients for 4 people: 250 g of Mascarpone – 2 tablespoons of sugar – 2 eggs – 4 oranges – 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder – 4 cinnamon sticks – 2 tablespoons of orange syrup – 4 slices of gingerbread (you can also use other biscuits also, depending on what you find)

Preparation:

Peel 3 oranges, cut them into 8 thin slices and then again into two parts each slice. Cut the last orange into cubes and let them drain in a colander.

Separate the egg whites from the egg yolks. Beat the egg yolks together with the sugar until they are white, then add the Mascarpone, the orange syrup and the cinnamon powder. Gently stir in the whipped egg whites.

Compose in a glass (or even in a dish) putting on the bottom a slice of ginger bread (or biscuits), then arrange the orange slices on the walls, put in the middle of the orange cubes and finally cover with the mascarpone preparation.

Let stand in the refrigerator for 12 hours.

Serve your orange tiramisu with an orange slice and a cinnamon stick laid on top, along with some gingerbread or other grated biscuits.

Enjoy your meal!
