EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
Today we will see how to prepare this delicious seafood dish. I don’t know about you, but I like mussels and clams very much.
The recipe is quite simple even if you have to calculate some time for the cleaning of the mussels, which must remain soaked for at least thirty minutes and then rinsed under running water.
SPAGHETTI WITH MUSSELS
Ingredients for 4 people: 500 g mussels – a can of peeled tomatoes – 1 clove of garlic – roughly chopped parsley – extra virgin olive oil – 350 g spaghetti
Start by washing the mussels: soak them in water for about half an hour.
Meanwhile, boil a pot with plenty of salted water for the pasta.
Sauté the garlic in a little extra virgin olive oil until it turns brown. Remove it and pour in the peeled tomatoes. Cook over low heat.
Now rinse the mussels under plenty of running water and drain them from excess water.
As soon as the water starts to boil, pour the spaghetti.
Pour the mussels into the sauce and cook until the shells are all open.
Finish with a handful of chopped parsley and, after draining the pasta, let it cook for a few minutes in the mussel sauce.
