EVERY DAY: AN EASY – FAST – AND CHEAP – RECIPE THAT SUITS EVERYONE
Today I made my first ice cream of the season… chocolate ice cream.
In this recipe I prepared it with an ice cream maker and, believe me, it is really worth it! My ice cream maker I bought at a local supermarket last year and, in addition to being really practical, it is also quite small, so it is also easier to insert in common freezers.
CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM (WITH ICE CREAM MAKER)
Ingredients for 4 people: 500 gr fresh cream – 300 gr milk – 300 gr dark chocolate – 150 gr sugar – 4 yolks – vanilla essence (also in sachet)
Melt the chocolate together with the cream and the milk in a saucepan.
In a bowl whip the egg yolks with the sugar.
Pour the egg and sugar mixture into the saucepan with the chocolate, keeping the heat low until it touches the boiling point (the eggs must not cook).
Mix well, in order to get a chocolate ice cream without lumps, turn off and add a few drops of vanilla essence (or a sachet of vanilla powder).
Pour the mixture into a bowl, let it cool and let it rest in the refrigerator for a few hours.
When it is rather cold, transfer it to the ice cream maker and start it at speed 1 (for about 30 minutes).
Decorate with a biscuit, pieces of chocolate and/or coarsely chopped hazelnuts.
