DIY (156) – Decorative flowers

Hi everyone!!!

Are you ready for another diy? Today we will see how to make flowers without using a cricut.

I made them in paper, but if it’s your first trial, I suggest that you print and copy the template below on felt, which is much easier to work

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 156

DECORATIVE FLOWERS

material:

colored or white paper – scissors – template (below) – hot glue – decorations (optional)

Print the template in the size you need. Below you will find both pdf and png formats.

Cut all around the edges.

As said inthe introduction, it’s easier at the beginning to use felt because to get the flower you will need to turn the shape around itself starting from the center (thinner end) until the external part of the flower with its base (larger part).

If you decide to do it with felt, you will have to copy the shape on the fabric and then cut it.

While you create your flower use hot glue to keep it together.

If you want a more precious look you can add little rhinestones or crystals.

DIY (156) – Fiori decorativi

Buongiorno a tutti!!!

Cominciamo!!!

DIY N. 156

FIORI DECORATIVI

materiali:

carta colorata o bianca – forbici – modello (sotto) – colla a caldo – decorazioni (opzionale)

DIY (154) – Finally my Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway Cricut has arrived!!

Hi everyone!!!

Finally I decided to get this Cricut machine for making cards. Believe me, it’s great and handy!

I chose this version (fold away) because it’s not too heavy and you can close it to put it away.

It’s a bit bigger than the basic ones, which is great when you’re making greeting cards.

In my diy section I will still provide templates to make handmade boxes and cards, but if you plan to make your own it’s really worth to buy it.

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 154

SIZZIX BIG SHOT FOLD AWAY CRICUT – MY FIRST GREETING CARD MADE WITH THIS MACHINE

material:

Sizzix big shot fold away – white and colored cardstock – scissors – glue – sizzix dies

Here you just need to use your creativity!

Here is my first card using the Big Shot Cricut.

When choosing the dies, I suggest to start with basic items such as alphabet letters (so that you can write your text) and also embossing folders which create very nice effects.

DIY (154) – Finalmente il mio Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway Cricut è arrivato!!

Buongiorno a tutti,

Cominciamo!!!!

DIY N. 154

SIZZIX BIG SHOT FOLD AWAY CRICUT – IL MIO PRIMO BIGLIETTO FATTO CON LE FUSTELLE

materiail:

Sizzix big shot fold away – cartoncino bianco o colorato – forbici – colla – fustelle

Do yow want to turn a simple glass jar into an elegant vase for your plants?

It’s so easy! Follow the tutorial below.

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 129

VASE DECORATION WITH ROPE

First, make a loop around the base of the neck of the vase.

Cut 12 pieces of rope twice the height of the pot.

Go ahead until you have used all the threads.

Take a thread from a knot and add it to the next one.

Proceed in this manner until you have covered the whole vase.

Turn the vase around and create a ring with another piece of string.

At this point, attach the knots made earlier to this ring created on the base of the vessel.

Turn the vase around again and attach the string also on the edge of the vase.

DIY (127) – Candle in a glass

Hi everyone!!!

Here we are with another project where the use of cardboard is planned: the candle in a glass . A light, a wine glass and some coloured cardboard to create this outdoor lighting element.

As with yesterday’s project, if you don’t have enough time to cut the cardboard, you can cover the shape (copied using the template below) with lace fabric, or use cardboard that is already decorated.

An easy to create object, suitable for decorating the table for an outdoor summer dinner.

let’s start!!!

DIY N. 127

CANDLE IN A GLASS

material:

colored cardstock – printer – scissors – glue – candle – glass

First, print the form above (for a wine glass, you will have to enlarge the shape to fit on an A4).

Decide if you want to carve the card or if you just want to cut the shape on a cardboard already decorated.

Cut the template and place it on your glass. Adapt to the size of the glass and glue.

Your candle in a glass is ready!!
