DIY (118) – very simple to do daisies

Hi everyone!

In a few minutes you can create these beautiful daisies, both in paper and in felt.

Cominciamo!!!

DIY N. 118

VERY SIMPLE TO DO DAISIES

materiali:

aluminium wire – yellow, white and green felt or paper – scissors – glue (or double-sided tape)

First cut a yellow stripe 1/2 cm high and 4 cm long.

Insert the metal wire and roll the yellow stripe around it in order to create the inside of your daisy.

Now cut a white strip 2 cm high and 10 cm long.

With scissors you make many cuts (these will be the petals) over the entire length of the strip (only cut up to a little more than half),

Roll the white stripe around the inside (yellow) of the flower.

Finish by rolling the green strip from the base of the flower up to the entire length of the metal wire.

Your daisy is ready. Of course you can create a thousand different colors!

If you do not insert the metal wire, you can use the flower for earrings or to decorate objects.

I hope you enjoyed today’s idea.

DIY (117) – Twine and bead bracelet

Hi everyone!!!

Here we are with another easy DIY. To make this beautiful bracelet it takes a few materials: simple twine and colored beads.

The effect is similar to the complex macramé but using a very simple knot.

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 117

TWINE AND BEAD BRACELET

material:

twine – clasps for bracelets (I found everything in the market, but there are many shops that sell them, or you can find them on Amazon) – colored beads

First put three strands of string together (I closed them with a clip made for this purpose, but if you don’t find it, you can make a simple knot where you will insert the ring).

Insert a bead into each thread and make a knot.

After making the knot continue inserting the beads again.

Do this procedure up to the desired length. We made a bracelet, but you can also make necklaces and earrings.

Close with a second clip, insert the ring and finally the closure.

I hope you enjoyed today’s idea.

DIY (114) – T-shirt necklace

Hi everyone!

I’m sure you have old t-shirts in your closet.

Let’s see this simple recycling idea.

All you need is an old t-shirt and decorative beads and stones.

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 114

T-SHIRT NECKLACE

material:

old t-shirt – gems – beads – decorative stones of your choice – needle and thread – hot glue

First of all cut your t-shirt in strips (not too thin, about 3 cm).

Twist each piece around itself to create a tubolar shape.

Join all the pieces together using needle and thread.

Make it quite long if you want a thick necklace. Close the ends (you will get one big circle).

Out of the big circle, make many of them in order to create your necklace.

Once you have decided the different lengths, cover with a little piece of t-shirt a square that you will use to cover the closing knot.

Now you can decorate your necklace with beads, glitter etc.

DIY (113) – Mother’s Day card (3)

Hi everyone!

Here we go with another homemade Mother’s Day card!.

With the template below you will be able to have an effect like that of professional die cutting machines.

You will just need a bit of patience in cutting, but believe me, the result is worth it!

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 113

MOTHER’S DAY CARD (3)

material:

180 gr cardboard (white or coloured) – cutter – printer – scissors – glue stick

First, print the attached document (above) on a 180 g paper weight. I recommend this weight because you can print it on almost all printers.

Leave a 1/2 cm border on the side of the drawing.

Fold the unprinted part in half.

On a work table carve the shapes with the cutter.

Place on the previously folded cardboard and glue with stick glue.

Decorate with an inscription or hearts. The lettering and the little heart on this card was made by hand, but on the market you can find some ready adhesives.

Your Mother’s Day card is ready!

DIY (112) – Plastic mask holder

Hi everyone!

Does it happen also to you that you don’t know where to store your anti-covid masks? Maybe you’re out and you need to take it off and you don’t know what to do with it?

Well, the, today’s tutorial is for you!

These little bags are really practical and easy to do. I made them all with recycled materials (if you don’t have acetate at home you can replace it with a rather rigid fabric. In this case, of course, your bag will not be transparent.

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 112

PLASTIC MASK HOLDER

material:

a piece of acetate 8,5 x 30 cm – felt cutouts – a piece of Velcro or an automatic button – hot glue

First cut the acetate to the measure described above.

Cut a felt tab for the bag with the velcro closure. While for the one with the snap button, just cut some decorative silhouettes (I put a flower with leaves and hearts).

With the hot glue attach the Velcro on the bag and tab. Before attaching the lid, close it on the other piece of Velcro so that the result will be more precise.

Do the same with the snap button on the second bag.

All you need to do now is to decorate them!

I hope you liked today’s idea!

DIY (111) – Paper ortensias

Hi everyone!

These ortensias are so nice that they look real.

In the video the material used is felt, but you can do it also with paper.

Let’s start!

DIY N. 111

PAPER ORTENSIAS

material:

colored paper – glue – foam ball – wood skewers – template (below) – green ribbon

All you have to do is print the template below in the size desired and copy it on colored paper.

Cut out the flowers (you will need quite a few) and the leaves.

Work them in your hands, using a toothpick to make the round edges. Stick them on the foam ball.

Proceed in this manner until you finish covering the ball. Insert the leaves and the covered wood skewer (with the green ribbon).

You can also stick them on a wreath. In this case you will need to cut the foam ball in half.
