DIY (268) – Simple box from recycled cardboard

Hi everyone!!!!

Today I want to share with you these cute DIY bags/boxes created from recycled cardboard.

They are so easy to make!!!

I have applied only greetings, but you can decorate them in a thousand other ways (lace, ribbons etc.)

Let’s get started!!!

DIY N.

SIMPLE BOX FROM RECYCLED CARDBOARD

material:

cardboard (also from an old box or envelope) – glue – decorations – template (below) – pencil

Print the template to the desired size.

Cut out the edges and copy to the card. To make the transfer on the card easier, I recommend cutting one of the tabs and placing it over the outer shape.

Copy the dotted lines (with this second mask created), and fold.

Another suggestion for making folding easier, if you don’t have the utensil to do this, is to trace the dotted lines with an old round tip pen (that doesn’t write, of course!).

Glue the side tab.

Your simple simple bag/box is ready.

I hope you enjoyed also today’s creative idea.

DIY (256) – Mini vases made with eco-friendly materials (2): from wood logs

Hi evryone!!!!

Here we are with the second idea on how to create mini vases, suitable to give as a gift or to cover the classic terracotta vases, always with an eye on the well being of our environment.

Very nice, you can create them in different sizes, from very small to larger.

This is an excellent activity to do with kids, obviously with the help of an adult in carving the wood.

Let’s get started!!!

DIY N.

MINI VASES MADE WITH ECO-FRIENDLY MATERIALS: FROM WOOD LOGS

material:

succulents (found at very low cost in supermarkets, in garden centers and in the brico) – soil – log wood

First choose the trunk you like best and cut it to the desired height.

Carve with a small knife or drill the inside of your wooden trunk. At this stage you will have to give a hand to the younger children to prevent them from getting hurt.

Insert the soil into the hole and finally the succulent plant.

Your mini vase made with a simple wood log is ready.
