DIY (162) – Flowers (daisies) template

Hi everyone!!!

We are back into paper crafts!

With the template below you will be able to make these beautiful daisies!

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 162

PAPER FLOWERS (DAISIES)

material:

colored cardstock (not too thick since you will have to cut small parts such as the pistili easily) – cutter – white acrylic – glue – template (below) – cutter

For this project you will need just a bit of patience for cutting the template.

Print the template in the desired size

Once you cut it compose the flower starting from the pisti outward. Once in a while add a bit of glue so that the flower will stay together.

Finally add a bit of acrylic color (in this case white), so to create some contrast.

DIY (158) – Castle Pop-Up

Hi everyone!!!

This castle pop-up card is really easy to do and the result is absolutely amazing!

All you need to do is to color it and follow the tutorial below. It’s a great project for kids but also for adults.

You can make it a bit more sophisticated by adding other elements such as trees and people.

It’s a very useful template because you can use it, when more experienced, with more complex shapes.

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 158

CASTLE POP-UP

material:

white cardstock – glue – colors (markers or inks) – scissors – printer

Print the template in the size you need. Below you will find it in png format below.

Cut out the shape and color.

Fold dotted line A into the castle, make sure to crease the fold well! Then, unfold the sheet.

Fold dotted line B into the castle and unfold.

Fold dotted line C into the castle, DO NOT UNFOLD the sheet.

Fold dotted line D (middle of castle), so that when you look at the paper folded, the castle illustration is face out.

Fold a sheet of construction paper in half.

With the glue stick the underside of the green section of the castle.

With your folded construction paper facing you like a book, fit the castle into the crevice made by the fold, making sure the paper is tucked tightly into the crevice of the construction paper.

When the ‘book is open wide, the castle cutout should be creased facing the opposite way of the construction paper.

The castle will collapse forward into the book when closed.

DIY (156) – Decorative flowers

Hi everyone!!!

Are you ready for another diy? Today we will see how to make flowers without using a cricut.

I made them in paper, but if it’s your first trial, I suggest that you print and copy the template below on felt, which is much easier to work

Let’s start!!!

DIY N. 156

DECORATIVE FLOWERS

material:

colored or white paper – scissors – template (below) – hot glue – decorations (optional)

Print the template in the size you need. Below you will find both pdf and png formats.

Cut all around the edges.

As said inthe introduction, it’s easier at the beginning to use felt because to get the flower you will need to turn the shape around itself starting from the center (thinner end) until the external part of the flower with its base (larger part).

If you decide to do it with felt, you will have to copy the shape on the fabric and then cut it.

While you create your flower use hot glue to keep it together.

If you want a more precious look you can add little rhinestones or crystals.

DIY (156) – Fiori decorativi

Buongiorno a tutti!!!

Cominciamo!!!

DIY N. 156

FIORI DECORATIVI

materiali:

carta colorata o bianca – forbici – modello (sotto) – colla a caldo – decorazioni (opzionale)
