Hi evryone!!!!

We’ve seen so many ways to create flowers with paper and fabric.

The beauty of this project is that you won’t have to waste much time creating the lace design on your roses since the paper doily already provides it.

Let’s get started!!!

DIY N. 248

RECYCLING PAPER DOILIES: ROSES

material:

paper doilies – scissors – glue

This is also a very easy project to do.

Cut on one side of your doily starting from the decorated part and stopping at 0.5 cm of the white part.

Cut out the inside.

Begin to roll up one of the two openings until you create your flower.

I advise you to use some glue (hot glue or for paper) from time to time, in order to avoid that your flower will unravel.

DIY (237) – Special Sizzix: Decorative Rose with Lace Edges

Hi evryone!!!!

Here we are with another special Sizzix die cutting machine.

Today we will see how to make a beautiful rose with a lace border.

You don’t have the Sizzix die-cutting machine? Then you just need to make your own roses, leaves and branches using the template provided below.

You can use them to decorate your gifts, but also to decorate a dining table for an important occasion.

Let’s get started!!!

DIY N. 237

SPECIAL SIZZIX: DECORATIVE ROSE WITH LACE EDGES

material:

COLOURED cardstock – scissors – VINYL GLUE – shape (under, in case you do not have the die cutting machine) – Sizzix – cutter

If you use the rose die with lace edge (I found it on Joom)

If you don’t have the cutting machine, print and transfer the flowers, leaves and branches on colored cardstock.

Now cut your roses, from the smallest to the largest.

With the cutter, cut the lace decoration (very carefully).

Starting from the long piece, roll it up to create the inner bud. Then proceed with that of the flower starting from the smaller and then with the larger one for the leaves and conclude with the one with the lace pattern. From time to time apply a little glue so as to hold the flower together.

With your fingers or with a rounded object (like a ballpoint pen), turn the petals a bit outwards.

Your rose with lace edges is ready!!!

I hope you enjoyed also today’s creative idea.
